How it works
Hashtags Studios is where the people who make work and the people who commission it meet: talent, production houses, agencies, academies, magazines and event teams, on one platform, with the money handled in the middle.
Below is the path for each kind of account — what to do first, what each step opens up, and the exact things that must be finished before you can be found, apply, or be paid.
For talent
Models, actors, photographers, editors, musicians, hosts, creators — anyone hired for their craft.
Pick Talent, then choose the discipline you work in. What the platform asks you for from here depends on that choice: a model is asked for measurements, a video editor never is.
Opens: your dashboard, and the right questions for your craft.
The last step of signing up. Upload a passport or an Emirates ID, plus a selfie. Our team reviews it — usually the same day.
Opens: everything else. Nothing public happens before this.
A photo, a short bio in your own words, your day rate, and the measurements your discipline asks for. Keep contact details out of the bio — phone numbers and social handles are refused, because bookings stay on the platform where they are protected.
Opens: a profile a client can judge, and the comp card if your plan includes one.
Set yourself available. Your profile then appears in the public directory and in the category pages for your craft.
Opens: being found. Identity verified, a discipline chosen and availability on are the three things the directory checks.
Add your payout account. This is the step most people miss: your profile can be live and findable while the Apply button still refuses, because nobody can be hired without somewhere for the money to land.
Opens: applying for jobs, accepting offers, and being booked.
Apply to castings and jobs, or receive a direct offer. Terms are agreed in the conversation, the client pays up front, and the money is released to you once the work is marked complete.
Opens: the work itself — and a review that stays on your profile.
For companies
Production houses, talent agencies, academies, magazines, event companies, podcast studios, marketing and advertising firms.
The type you pick decides the whole platform you get. A production house sees crews and equipment; an academy sees courses and instructors; a magazine sees articles and subscriptions. You are never shown another type’s tools.
Opens: a dashboard scoped to your business, and nothing else.
Trade licence, and the identity of the person signing up. Reviewed by our team.
Opens: posting, hiring and selling. None of it opens before this.
Logo, what you do, where you are, and the people who may act for the account. Add your payout account here too if you will be selling.
Opens: a public company page, and the ability to receive money.
The package sets your limits — how many jobs you may have open, how many listings you may publish, how deep you can search. It never gives you another type’s features; it gives you more of your own.
Opens: the quantities. Every locked row on your dashboard names the plan that opens it.
Open a casting or a job, publish services and equipment, run a course, sell tickets, or build an event from the marketplace — whichever of these your type does.
Opens: applications, orders, bookings and enquiries, all in one inbox.
Shortlist, agree the terms in the conversation, and pay. The money sits with the platform until the work is delivered, then it is released.
Opens: a record of the whole job — contract, messages, payment and review.
For everyone else
Brands, small teams and individuals who need to hire someone, buy something, or attend.
An email and a password. No licence, no portfolio.
Opens: saving talent, messaging, and checkout.
Browse talent by craft, companies by trade, services, equipment, courses and events — or tell us what you need and let the platform put it in front of the right people.
Opens: quotes, offers and availability.
Dates, deliverables and price are settled in the conversation before any money moves, and what you agree becomes the contract.
Opens: a booking both sides can point at.
You pay the platform, not the person. The money is released when the work is done — and if it is not done, you are refunded.
Opens: the job, with somebody to call if it goes wrong.
Every booking is paid to the platform first and released to the person who did the work after it is delivered. Neither side holds the other’s money, and neither side has to chase an invoice. Our fee is taken from that release, and it is shown before anyone agrees to anything.
Identity is checked before anyone appears publicly, conversations and agreements are kept, and contact details are not allowed in public text. That is what lets a stranger book a stranger — and it is why a job that leaves the platform leaves its protection behind.
