The regional premiere of a 24-minute short shot across Fujairah and Hatta, followed by a conversation with the director and cast. Seating is unreserved. Doors close when the film starts; there is no late admission.
SHOWCASE — Studio Lighting Workshop
One day on lighting a face properly — key, fill, separation, and what to do when the room fights you. Hands-on. You shoot, you get looked at, you shoot again. Cameras provided if you do not have one; bring a card reader either way.
SHOWCASE — Open Casting Call — Regional Campaign
A regional campaign shooting in October is casting speaking and non-speaking roles across all ages. Bring photo ID. You will be filmed for a self-tape on the day; the tape stays with the casting team and is not published anywhere.
SHOWCASE — Creative Industry Mixer
An open evening for the people who actually make the work — directors, stylists, editors, producers and the agencies who hire them. No panels and no pitching. A room, a bar, and two hours to meet the people you keep seeing in credits. Bring cards; most of the room still uses them.
